Google Biz Kit Reviews – Google Home Business Kit a Scam?

Recently there has been a wave of work at home programs all claiming that they can show you how to make money from Google. They all sell a Google Home Business Kit for a low shipping and handling fee from $1.99 – $3.88.

These programs consist of a CD and a membership website that hosts the courses. The lessons teach you how to use Google AdWords to place advertisements for programs that you are an affiliate for.
So Are These Google Biz Kits Scams…?

The main issue with all these companies is the advertising schemes they have come up with. They insinuate that they will get you hired by companies like Google or eBay, and some will flat out lie to you over the phone and tell you they work for these companies.

They also advocate setting up fake blogs and websites to advertise the same Google Biz Kit that you just bought. You may have seen ads like these on Facebook and MySpace. Don’t be fooled by these and other sites claiming that you can make money from these programs; any income they’re receiving is simply from referring more people to join these sites. Here are 2 examples of these fake blog and news sites…

fake blogFake News Article

If you see an ad for one of these blogs or “newspapers” save yourself the time and don’t visit them, as they’ll only redirect you to one of these Google Home Business Kits.

The other catch with all these programs is that once you submit your billing info to pay for the S&H you automatically agree to their membership program. When you apply for the Google Kit you’re also authorizing them to charge you a membership fee of up to $70 a month. Not only that, but these companies often sign you up for monthly memberships of other useless products for which you’ll pay additional fees.

This is why these Google Biz Kits have been called out as serious scams. Most people don’t see the fine print which they have cleverly hidden throughout their site. Then a month later they’re shocked to see a fee of $70 which they haven’t authorized. Here are a few examples of Google Biz Kit sites to beware of.
Easy Google Profit Google Money Master
Google Home Business Kit Google Cash Kit

All of these websites were advertised through a series of fake blogs set up specifically to sell Google Biz Kits. Most were filled with pictures of a young person, their big checks from Google, and fake comments towards the bottom.

There have been thousands of complaints made against these Google Kit companies by people who’ve been charged the monthly fees without even receiving the CD’s and membership info.

The guys running these scams are not stupid either and are very good at what they do. They’ve taken many measures to ensure that they can keep operating their scams long term. This includes hiding their websites’ URLs and consistently changing the names of their programs and companies.

This is what makes my job so difficult, it’s almost impossible to keep up with them. When one product starts accumulating massive amounts of complaints they simply change the name and viola they have a new Google Kit to sell. For instance they’ve recently switched to using the name ‘Google Money Master’.

By the time there are enough complaints and articles exposing them they’ve already moved on to a new name and website. If you come across any website claiming to be able get you a job with Google or offering some sort of Google Home Biz Kit for only s&h charges please be weary and do your research!

Man, I still go with the old adage, "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is". I looked at this ad out of curiosity and still cannot understand why anyone would pay to, in effect, join employment online. It's a rough world out there right now, but I will struggle with what I have, rather than give someone access to my accounts to "direct deposit" anything. Please be careful and follow your gut, no matter how promising it may seem now.

does anyone have any idea about the website: generatemywealth.com? I got the link from an article i read in the Consumer Life Journal. It talks about a kit, a kit called generate my wealth. It does not ask for a small shipping fee and that is it...it asks for the one time fee of the kit for 69.95 or something and offers a discount because of the link that I found it through. It regularly sells for more than that or something. Anyone have any idea if it is a scam or legit? I don't see any huge red flags but there are a few things that could be considered red flags.

wow. didn't fall for it. the title of the article said, "XXX.edu student gets paid $6,745 per month working from home!!" first of all why would they have added the .edu to the student? why wouldn't they have just said the XXXX University student? all the comments on the article were all like, "this is the best thing that's ever happened to me!!" so i googled it. found this article. TIP: when a website that does not offer a link to pay with paypal (as all legit shopping pages do i.e. ebay, walmart.com, etc.) then don't enter your credit card info. It's like an invitation saying, "HERE'S ALL MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!! STEAL MY MONEY!!" and to the guy who said because it was google it looked legit, any thing that says you only have to pay a cheap amount to order something that supposedly makes you thousands, its either a scam or a pyramid scheme.

I won't lie and say I was almost taken or anything. I was researching a lot of these different schemes to see if there were ANY legitimate ones-- of which all of the shady ones would presumably be derivative-- but one thing I've realized is this:

People LIE. I don't mean just bad people. I really believe there are people who are setting up these businesses simply because others have gotten away with it, and "what's the harm in doing something if others have already done it," or whatever.

People lie through their teeth, and will put up pictures of "satisfied entrepreneurs" grinning and waxing their BMWs or Benzs. The fact is that you'll get a much better boost in the work/earning department if you go to your local bookstore and find a copy of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. Read it cover to cover. If you don't get it, or you don't identify with it, the fact is you may be a looter too.

First, call your credit card company. They don't want to be used by criminals any more than you do.

Second, look up the owners of the website and file a complaint with the host. They might just jump from one fake site to the next, but if everybody put up at least some resistance, they might figure it's too much trouble. Belize is a very small country, Most all the local servers are administered by Belize Telecommunications Co, Ltd. You can easily find their phone number and just call them up and let them know what's going on. They know that if they lose their reputation, there goes easy money for them. Most of the total crap they serve is porno and gambling sites. But at least those consumers know they are throwing away money. So even when they get screwed, they know they had it coming.

This Google scam preys on the innocent and hard working. It's definitely criminal misrepresentation and therefore qualifies as fraud.

I am not to sure what i was charged for but when i looked at my bank statement i noticed a charge for $2.97, and then 3 days later a charge for $139.95. The only thing it says on the statement is Internet Biz, Belize City Bl 35B, and 1-877-304-146 so its missing one number to the phone number. So anyone out there no of this site or how I get a hold of them to get a refund . Please let me know thanks Tracie

Sounds like a LOT of people have gotten scammed on this program. I am a computer techie that ALWAYS tells his clients, when buying online...ALWAYS use a secured credit card. What is a secure credit card? It is a credit card that YOU put money onto it. They company that you "made a transaction with" can only take the amount you put on the card. Example: If the kit says $1.99 fee, then you put about $5.00 on the card. Wait for 1-2 months before buying anything again and you will STOP this kind of scams dead in its tracks! ALWAYS use secure credit cards online ONLY. NEVER use your real credit card OR bank card!!

Fist thing is its a scam just read the fine print, it completely disclaims the whole scam. They just keep changing sites and cant get caught because of the disclaimers. They charge way more then they say, they only say like $1 or so but charge a ton once they get your credit card info.

I'm wondering something though, even though the monthly fees are of 70 something dollars, doesn't the kit gives any money? Like what do they give you nad how are you suppose to 'make money' with the so-called kit? Thats what seemed the most fishy to me...

I saw this on my friend FB's status. Thus subconsciously, I thought it made sense. But then if it's really that good, then everybody'll start doing it real soon and their pay will get down fast. That's when I found out that it's fake!! I think the culprit still can't be captured because they're working in a country somewhere with military power with no respect for international law. Probably the same country with 21st century pirate xp

I have to agree with "if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't" but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't fight against the scams that still our hard earned money. I just posted my xbox on craigslist cause I'm 18, I work for 7.85 an hour, and I don't have enough money for gas for the rest of the week. A little bit later I received a automated email insisting that this google biz kit is legit and I should give it a try. I laughed cause of course I knew it was a scam but the more I thought about it, the more I was disgusted at these leeches who prey on the people who really do need the money.
I really do hope that people will stop falling for this. Sites like this one should be posted everywhere to inform people of This company's unethical behavior.

It never ceases to amaze me how people continually get scammed because they don't pay attention to the old adage, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true!" Let's face it, the claims made by these crooks are no where near plausible. Just reading them has to have your common sense brimming over with skepticism.
I don't ever purchase a product or service without checking it out first on the internet. If you know how to use a search engine, just Google it and chances are, with the way people like to bitch, there will be a healthy number of complaints online from which to gauge your decision upon.
These people should definitely be prosecuted, but those of you who actually fell for this scam, are just as much to fault for not exercising good common sense and being too lazy to check them out first on the internet or thru the Better Business Bureau. If you are always looking for something for nothing, you will be scammed over and over and over.

If it's too good to be true most likely it is. all you have to do is tell the bank you lost your card and they will cancel it. therefore, the company can not take anymore money out of your account.

This is exactly why we have so much trouble getting our clients to understand the benefits of free and legal business directory listings. Scam sites like these really need to be filtered out of ALL search engines. Tighter control over this would make the web a safer place for individuals and businesses alike.

I GOT 4 MONTHS OF RE-OCCURRING CHARGES REFUNDED - YOU CAN TOO - HERE'S HOW I DID IT - BE PERSISTENT THAT YOU WANT A REFUND - KEEP SPEAKING TO SOMEONE HIGHER IN THE ORGANIZATION (I WAS FINALLY REFERRED TO A "DIRECTOR" WHO HA THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE THE FULL REFUND)-DON'T STOP AT THE 1ST PERSON YOU SPEAK WITH!! I fell for the $.99 fee and then because they kept switching up their name and ph.#s on my visa bills, I didn't pick up it was the same monthly charge being put on my visa, but when I realized I had been scammed:

1. I called Visa and reported it. They told me because I had agreed to the $.99 charge (and unknowingly the monthly reoccurring charges) - it's not fraud, but you should file a "Dispute" with Visa/your Bank, etc. Visa will contact the company on your behalf about the Dispute. Visa told me I had to actually phone the #s on my visa card and formally cancel my account;

2. I called all the company #s on my visa associated with the 4 monthly charges (Pacific Webworks, PWW Internet Biz Kit, TQG onlinebizkit.com, Internetbizkit, VMT Hosting.com - which are all operated by Pacific Webworks Inc. in Utah). I asked if they were all the same company, they said yes. I said their practices were unethical, I wanted all my money back. I asked for a supervisor who said they would refund 1 month - I kept insisting, just repeating myself that I wanted ALL charges refunded. they finally put me through to a "director". His tactic was to make me feel guilty about not being accountable for my transactions - I answered back that there are hundreds of these complaints on the internet, they knew very well how they were duping people! You have to be FORCEFUL, just repeat and repeat yourself "I want a full refund" - I said I was filing a dispute with Visa, I was going to contact the Utah Better Business Bureau, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission - the director finally said "well let's move forward with this and we will refund you the 4 months charges"!!! I got a cancellation reference #. As a follow-up I also sent a registered letter requiring a signature of receipt confirming that I had cancelled my account and they were refunding my 4 months charges. I ACTUALLY GOT THE TOTAL REFUND ON MY VISA 3 DAYS AFTER MY PHONE CALL!! Just don't let them sway you on the phone - I kept saying, "that's not good enough, I want a full refund". They refunded the $ before they even would have received my registered letter.

Visa also did contact them. Visa sent me Webworks' response. They said they did nothing wrong, sent Visa a copy of the Terms & Agreements setting out the monthly charges (of course it was in big letters in that copy - not hidden like on their website!). However, they did say they didn't want a "chargeback" on their account (a "charge back" is the amount Visa, upon confirmation an amt was put on someone's visa without authorization, charges it back to that company) Obviously Webworks does not want chargebacks on their record - which must do something to their credibility with Visa) and told Visa they were refunding the funds so there wouldn't be a "chargeback" - interesting! So saying you are filing a dispute with Visa really works too!

Good luck! Persistence - don't take no for an answer! Pam

So we see this Home Income Success article posted on MSNBA about a woman in our hometown of Petaluma, Ca. The add stated that she made $200 to $300 a day. Then there was a free trial to see if you would like to try the system. We went on and entered our info and paid the $3 for the kit. Then I go and try to get on the website and it kicks me off. Then I call the cancellation number and it is not in order and says that this number is disconnected... If these people think they are pulling a fast one on us they have another thing coming. BE AWARE THIS IS A SCAM..

This is DEFINITELY a scam. I canceled my order immediately right after I purchased the "Google Biz Kit", then a month after I was charged $99 mysteriously. I never received anything from this fictitious company. My banker and I called about 3 times on different occasions to have them put the money back in my account, and they only kept giving me cancellation verification codes but never put the money back in my account. It's been 2 months since I canceled the order, I never received anything and my money still hasn't been returned to my account. I called just a few minutes ago and they said they had already refunded the money and I should call my bank to check why it still isn't there, and my bank said there was NO $99 dollars put back in my account from this company. My bank has been so good with helping me with this, and they have agreed to give my my $99 back, therefore this false company will be owing my bank $99 instead of owing me. My bank's lawyers are gonna go after this "Google Biz Kit" and prove that they are a scam. THEY ARE A SCAM.

I too bought this as was looking at ways to earn more money so could stay at home more. It seems these companies prey on people who may be more vulnerable with finances who need to look at ways to survive. I feel so stupid that I fell for it and do not think I am a naive person. I have read some sites about this where some people slate the people for been stupid for falling for this. This does not help as i'm guessing most people are like me and kicking themselves and already feel stupid with it. I am in the UK and the 1st £51.13 that they took I did not really question it was just before Christmas and had done lots of internet shopping. I contacted my credit card company to cancel the charge and was told that I couldn't as it was an agreement between me and the company and I would have to cancel with the company. I have never managed to actually get hold of the company I have tried several telephone numbers, sent letters all to USA address and sent emails. In the end I had to cancel my credit card as could not cancel the charge but was amazed that despite paying off my credit card the next month I received another statement with another charge to this company. I wrote a letter of complaint to my credit card who are now looking into this. They are trying to put the charges back to this company and they have until 1st April to defend if not I will recieve refund for the 2 payments i have made. All the company have never responded to my emails etc they have not tried to take a payment in Jan so maybe someone is reading them. I never actually recived anything from this company. I received a login and password but no CD and instructions on how to work at home which is why they said you had to pay the small amount to ceover postage. I put this in my email to the company saying false trade description when never received anything. I will be extra careful from now, another lesson learned the hard way. Good luck to others in same situation. I may get refund or not and will have cot me just over £200 will monthly payments and cost of telephone calls trying to contact them

Today I called the 877-479-9805 number given by Marley. They have on record that I canceled on Dec. 28th. I was told the charge was made in error and would be removed in 7-10 days. The representative gave me his name, employee number and the cancellation number on my account. At least I was able to talk to a real person who appeared to be competent. I will be watching my CC statement online for results.

I recently came across this article on Online News 6 talking about a mom who lost her job and is now making 7k a month. onlinenews6.com/FINANCE/Local-Report/?t202id=91759&t202kw= I knew it was a scam from the beginning but it leaves you questioning whether it might in fact be real because of all the misleading comments at the bottom of the page...supposedly made by "real" people who have actually tried it. I wanted to see what this was all about so I clicked on the link and it brought me to a page similar to the ones posted above. After about 10 minutes of scanning the page I found the catch. They would charge you 2 dollars for a kit which they forgot to mention was just a trial. Then after you were hooked they would slam you with a hidden fee of some 125 dollars. My point is that, whenever you see an ad about some bogus way to make easy money, if it's too good to be true don't bother looking in to it. If someone tried to sell you seeds that could grow a money bearing tree would you fall for it? This crap is almost that ridiculous...not quite.

I received my "scam" email from a friend, but I think she did not send it, I believe it was a virus in her computer. Anyway, idiot me believed the email & signed up for $1.97. Well, a month or so later I have a charge on my card for $99. I had no idea what it was for. Turns out it was the scam Online Biz Kit. I disputed the charge to my credit card company but they said I did order this. I then called asking what the charge was for. They said for a informational CD. I told them I did not receive a CD. They told me I did! I again said I did not. But naive me, thought I signed up for this so I will have to pay. I told her I did not receive any CD. They have to cancel. Cancel, and do not take out any more money. She told me that no more money would be taken out. Well, now today I have a charge of $47.50. So, I am again disputing to the credit card company. I also called the CC company and they have canceled my card number and are getting me a new number. I have to now call this fraud company and see what I can get back. I will be letting BBB know about this scam company. They need to be shut down. It sucks u get this from a friend and believe they are using it and it works. Scam!!! I think my email was on facebook from a friend. Just terrible that such things go on. How on earth could I fall for such a scam. I should of known better for sure. SCAM!!

Don't waste your time calling the phone number 877-479-9805 that was referred to in the above comment - there is a recording from a man with an Indian accent that states that if you can hear him I will be forced to call him back. This same recording comes on every time you call the number - you don't have the opportunity to speak to anyone. Therefore, if you have been charged by Biz Kits - kiss your money goodbye, as you will never see it again.

I never signed up for the so called "Biz Kit", but my credit card was charged for $99.00. There is no way to call this bogus company, as the phone number listed on my credit card has a recording that the voicemail is full - this is all day, every day. I've called for 4 days & receive the same message. There is no website to contact them either. I'm going to have to close my account to prevent further charges from this completely bogus, scam product. DO NOT request any information from them or they will rip you off every time!!!

SCAM!! "Welcome to GOOGLE PROFITS" "Congratulations!! You now have all the tools and information you need to get started in the money-making world of Internet Search Marketing". the company is called "Google Profits". They provide a software CD and a trial membership site supposed to be located at www.googleprofitresource.com/. It's not. This URL is parked with GoDaddy.com. But other than that, it doesn't exist. Google Profits also offers customer support at 1-877-479-9805. After receiving the CD, I received a number of phone calls from a Kevin Shikiro, located in Riverton, UT, 801-878-8330. Kevin called me a number of times, all of which was logged and recorded by Google Voice. I told him I wasn't interested. When my credit card bank flagged two "Biz-Kit" labeled charges of $47.50 and $99.00 as possible fraud, I canceled the card and refuted the charges. I tried to call the return number for Kevin, but with no response. Then I called The Google Profits support number, 877-479-9805. A pleasant lady with an Indian accent answered the call. Her name was Vanessa. She asked me for my phone number, eMail address and which company issued the charges. When I told her "Google Profits", she immediately responded that two charges of $47.50 and $99.00 would be refunded within 3-5 days. She made a point of repeating this. Then she canceled the account, issuing me a cancellation number and requesting I write it down and save it for future reference. I thanked her. The entire call was completed in only a few minutes. Then I called my credit card bank. Let's see if the reimbursement comes through. I'll try to post an update when and if it does. ~marley~

OMG! I can't believe they charged my account again for $47.50. I thought I took care of this months ago when my account was charged $99.00 after I canceled within 7-10 days. When I called and spoke to somebody, only to be told you ordered it and we shipped it(what a lie I never received anything and I don't want it do not ship it, then to be told ok, but we are going to charge you 1/2 price and ship it),and this was after I canceled within 7-10 days. Before I hung up I told them do not charge my account, do not ship anything and I will be calling the BBB. Well what do you know, they refunded ny account, but only to be billed months later for $47.50. Called and they inform me I am not in there system and somebody else is rerouting their customers info, and they are the ones billing my account. I was told to go to (www.consumerformhelp.com) to fill this out and I would receive a confirmation #. Went to the site and once I looked at it, I thought I'm not filling this out! Called my bank to cancel my card (WHAT A INCONVENIENCE)! Now it will take 7-10 business days to get a new card. This is the # I called 1 800 215-1752 to be told to go to the web site mentioned above.

He also asked me to fax him a copy of the statement so it could be researched by a supervisor... I am leery of faxing anything to these people... but here is the fax number.... 801-578-9019.... which is an unlisted number in Salt Lake City, UT. I have been on hold about 27 min and still no answer... afraid to hang up now! UGH! I have been fighting with my bank to reverse the fees charged by this scam since November 2009. I too was taken for $79.90 over and above the $1.97 they promised would be the only charge. Of course, I did not receive anything and now my bank won't reverse because I do not have any proof that I didn't authorize this, except for my word. I'm trying to gather evidence to show them that this is a scam. They also want the exact URL to the website. I told them I didn't want to go back to it because they might charge me AGAIN! If you know the URL, please post it. I called the company when I first received the $79 charge. They would not give me the company's name, address, or any information that would help me identify them. I had to "cancel" this so-called monthly fee of $79.90 that they had planned to keep charging me. This is an absolute scam and I hope someone does something about this soon so that others do not get ripped off.

Every offer on every web site is a scam!!! NEVER sign up for anything that is only available from the WEB. Approach everything that you encounter on the WEB as a scam!!! If you can't get a phone number, address, etc, then it is a scam. -even if it seems legit -even if it has a famous person representing it... -even if it has "testimonials" from others who claim success -even if you can't resist, resist anyway. it's all a scam. Don't trust anything on the web with your credit card, unless you can verify that it is totally legit... There is NO easy way to make money. There is NO easy to get employment... Don't trust anyone or anything that you "find" on the internet that "sounds" like it "might" be OK.

I just 'googled' google kits and found this site. I have been getting responses to ads that I've placed on Craigslist in Chicago, urging me to click the link and go to their googlebestmoney.info site. I have also been getting automated messages on the phone number I leave for my ads. I get at least two of these e-mails per day. Also, having worked in the fraud dept. at a major credit card, getting a new card # will not always stop the charges. This is considered a pre authorized charge, just like a gym membership, and often times charges to the new card # as well. The credit card companies will not revoke their merchant accounts because they are making a TON of money off this.

As others have mentioned i was sucked in by the "endorsements" from CNN ABC e.t.c. also the link was on a reputable job search site here in the U.K. Generally speaking if something looks too good to be true it is, if they say its a free trail but you have to sign up by the end of the day its a scam. I was lucky and I know loads of people would argue its pretty easy to avoid these scams but in the current economic climate people are desperate. I think that all reputable websites and companies including google that have been associated with this scam should publicly warn everyone that this is a scam and stop their names and sites being used to promote it.

That's $160 (I'm in the UK so £100 more or less) I'm out. I phoned the company up but got nowhere - no refunds allowed, although she said she'd canceled my "account" there and then. I've reported it to my c/c co and I'll let them deal with it. I'm not paying it. I gave the girl on the phone some grief though - I told her she'd probably go to jail. Psychology majors find your dream job." It appealed to me because I'm a psychology major, and I am still unemployed. I clicked it the first time, and the page that came up was similar to the picture posted in this article (the one "published" by the Morristown Tribune). Firstly, I looked up the Morristown Tribune to see if it was a real paper, and apparently it is, but not in Morristown, NJ - Morristown, TN. I clicked on the ad a second time, and it brought up a totally different page. Here's the link to that page: goodnetworknews.com/finance/?t202id=72512&t202kw= I knew this was a scam because Google is a very prestigious company, and they have very strict hiring standards. Google would not just send you a kit and let you go at it. I hope more people see this web page. It's a shame that there are people out there who want to take advantage of unemployed people during such difficult economic times.

I seen the ad from Google Home Income and thought "I can do this". The ad had a clock running indicating I had less then 3 minutes to respond. I filled in my name, phone # and email address. When I clicked on next/continue, I went to the next screen which asked for my cc info. At that point, I decided to check into the company before I give such crucial info. When I hit the back button, a window popped up asking me if I really want to leave the website. I was then contacted via an online chat asking why I wanted to leave before completing the online form. I responded by telling them I wanted to research the company before giving my cc#. I was then redirected to their home page. I opened a new tab and googled "Home Income". That is when I found this site. After reading the comments here, I'm glad I followed my instinct to check it out first. I immediately went back to the first tab, erased my name and closed the tab. I never filled out the second window asking for my cc info. I only hope I didn't get caught in some other scheme just by giving my name and phone #.

Thanks for the information that I have been reading because now I do not feel like I am crazy. After spending way too long on the phone with "Internet Business Kit Using Google" and trying to get my money back. This group is out of Salt Lake City, Utah. 1-800 497-4988. The person I spoke with was Rev (female). She would not refund the money they had stolen from me. I asked to speak to a supervisor and there was not one. ( I asked that several times during our conversation) She said they would only give back half of the money. So I told her she and her company where nothing but common criminals and I hoped that she was happy with what she was doing to other people. I never would have signed up for something that I would have to pay a monthly fee of 79.90 a month. If I had that kind of extra money I would not be trying to get a job working on-line. This is a good life lesson. I am also going to contact the BBB and anyone else I can think of to warn people about this scam.

How are you handling the Google Success Kit fraud situation Report abuse Ann_Steenbergen Level 1 2/23/09 It is using your name and ripping lots of people out of hard earned dollars???? What are you doing about this? It is professionally packaged, advertised and successfully not delivering the product promised and billing people illegally? I called 888-541-0915 to cancel the Google Success Kit and fight for a refund. Hold your ground. First they say you are cancelled but cant refund because of the terms and agreement. Then they say they will refund the last month only. Fight with them. Threaten criminal action if necessary. Mention the FBI, BBB etc. Take down their name and ID# and date you called. You will then have to call 1-800-712-7226 for the Fraud Protection and go thru the same process. Then you need to call 1-800-712-7224 for the Identity Security and once again go through the same process. Fraud Protection does not give you as hard of time with the refund as Google Success Kit people did but Identity Security does. Again write down the name and time of whom you spoke to. I am also going to put in a fraud alert on my credit card and dispute all charges with them letting them know I spoke personally with the company. I will also be putting in a complaint with the BBB and I might even try this Internet Crime Report http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx and Rip Off Report

I almost became a victim of this scam. What is really sick, there are a lot of people hurting out there. A lot of just every day next door neighbor's, and these people are becoming a victim to the need for extra income. I looked up the fastblogincome with the BBB on with Google, it stated they were not registered with them by that name. But, they offered a business in NC that was some way connected by name. I think I have figured out there set-up, not sure but sounds close. Set up a company to sell a "Do something for a little bit of nothing company", promote... sell... sell... sell... when that runs low or out of contacts or people to respond close it down. Set up another "Do a little bit of work get a lot of money company", and when it runs down or out, Then move on, keep every one at bay, be elusive, then change your name to a different, just a sight difference will do, and start all over again. Each time pull some one else in, keep the cycle turning, moving on, it's a cycle, that never will run out. I hope I'm wrong, but from the items and comments made... you make the judgment. Thank you for your time.

DO NOT BUY THE GOOGLE BIZ KIT! It's a scam! I was charged £1.98 initially for shipping & posting then today they took $79.90 (£50.71)from my card also. I phoned up the number 001 8004974988 & canceled my account & asked the company to put this unauthorized amount back onto my card. They told me that £1.98 was the initial amount and then 79.90 USD would be taken 7 days later. As I photocopy everything, I read the document back to the operator and told her that there was no mention of $79.90 being thereafter. They have sent me a confirmation email and it will take up to 3 - 5 working days. DEMAND YOUR MONEY BACK! They have no right to do this to people. I really hope Google are looking into this.

I FELL for this scam hook line and sinker and I sent them my card information thinking I would be charged the $1.97 shipping for the free cd. I never got anything from this "Search Cash Builder" website that they advised me was set up for me immediately. Then I started getting emails from OTHER marketing people (Magellan & Ebay Powersellers) and I hadn't even gotten the CD. I found out Magellan has set me up (from this initial google website) on a trial period with a website (that I would have been charged for had I not contacted them and canceled). Meanwhile, I never got the CD and surprisingly my account was charged $79.95. I immediately contacted my bank and CANCELED the card, then I had to find a contact phone number for PWW Customer Service from this website. I contacted them and canceled and the first guy REFUSED to give me a full credit OR let me speak with his supervisor. I called back later that day and I spoke with another girl. I told her that I had not received ANY information (electronically or through mail) that advised me that I was on a trial period OR that I had a free website automatically set up. I asked her if she showed that I EVER logged into the website and she said NO. I continued to explain to her that--the fact that they never electronically confirmed or sent me anything or that confirmed I KNEW about their TERMS and CONDITIONS!! After much arguing back and forth, threatening to SUE them, contact the BBB etc..I WAS ISSUED A FULL REFUND. The charge went through on my acct one day and the credit came the very next day. I WILL NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, DO ANYTHING AS STUPID AS THIS AGAIN IN MY LIFE. But my advice to ANYONE who was charged is to fight it!!! Especially if you NEVER logged into to their so called website or received any material, confirmations from them. DO NOT GIVE UP, YOU CAN GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!

If these guys are using the Google name and google is allowing them to use their name, or if Google is doing nothing about it, then GOOGLE should be made to repay everyone's money. In addition Google should be sued for allowing scammers like this to use their name and take advantage of the public. Since Google is currently worth about $220 Billion they can bloody well afford it. I was ripped for $80 but fortunately I caught at the first payment. When you call them to cancel your account, make sure you get a CONFIRMATION number. With this number, if you get charged again after the cancellation, then you can call your credit card company and tell them that you have an unauthorized payment on your account, and they will take action against them and they will refund your money. You should also phone your credit card company and tell them this up front. It is easy to explain, they know all about it by now.

Wow, I had the ads keep popping up on me when I was trying to watch a movie. I saved a couple of them so I could go back to see what they were about. My first indication that it was a scam was when I saw the same check for $5,000 on both checks with the "Pay to the order of:" blackened and one of them had the same Mary Steadman or something like that and they said that she was from Paola Kansas. I saw someone else who got the same message said she was suppose to be from San Diego. The same woman from 2 different places wanted to show us one of her checks so why did they blacken the Pay to name? Next I saw it said I could get it for free but when I went to the website it said "Risk Free". Not the same as free :-(. I decided to do a little research just to be on the safe side before I did something stupid and go against my instincts because we could use the extra money too but can't afford to lose any. I'm really sorry that so many of you were taken advantage of. I wish that there was a way of getting the word of this scam out to more people. We can start by telling all of our friends and family. I know I will.

I fell for this SCAM I too thought I was savvy enough not to fall for a scam like this but low and behold I did! I rang my bank and they have been very good in understanding what has happened. I too canceled my card but they still managed to debit my account by £50!!! I explained it to my bank but they said it was already in their system for debit before my 7 day trial was up, so there was nothing they could do! However they will reverse the payment made to them if I don't receive anything from them within 28 days! This is my best bet to get my money back. I canceled this within my 7 days too! I spoke to a very rude woman on the phone who said she had canceled my account only to find she hadn't as she hadn't given me a reference number! I had to call the US again today and spoke to another agent this time a man who did give me a cancellation number. I tried talking to him about the SCAM but he just kept saying I should have read the small print. The small print for me wasn't on the page until I had already paid the $1.98! It was then I cancelled and spoke to this rude woman! She obviously decided not to cancel despite my calling! You have to trust that when you call they will actually cancel you so called subscription! WARNING GUYS please don't do this it is a SCAM! When you ring, they don't want to know that you want to cancel and they don't believe they are doing anything wrong!

Any advice who was able to get a full refund on PWW Internet Biz Kit 800.497.4988 and ezykit 866.473.1621 ? I lost my job early of this year due to the bad economy, since then I have been trying to find work or make some money to survive. Having a background in HTML and Marketing I found that Google Adsense was the answer to my financial needs. I signed in and posted my compositions in trial and errors. At the same time I was reading and searching for some additional information that I can use to fully understand the Adsense business. While reading the on line Time Magazine I came across an advertisement that has Google Income library and Google Case Success. Being a user of Google, Gmail and finding the ad on Time Magazine website a very respectable publication I put my trust on keying my Credit card to be charge $1.97. On this page there was no mention of joining a membership. It is a "Free Course" as mentioned in the ad. My goal is survival first and $$1.97 of investment should be able to return back after 200 clicks if the click is worth a penny. As I was putting blogspot and adsense together I lost some days of computer hours due to laptop technical problem. I then receive a hard copy from my Credit card with charges of $79.86 from ezykit and $79.90 from PWW Internet Biz Kit. I called both numbers to question them of the unauthorized charges. They told me that I joined a membership, that this was not on the ad. I asked whatever happened to What you see is what you get? ezykit won't give me my money back, they can only cancel my "so called" membership, PWW finally promised to give me 50% refund of $39.95. That was after I have to tell them that I lost my job and investing $1.97 have already hit my pocket and now two weeks of my food was taken by these companies. I was not able to sleep the night before waiting for the eastern time hours to call to take the charges out of my credit card. I don't know how these people can sleep after work after dealing with victims like me. At the moment I am not dreaming of big checks, I just want to survive on today's economy. To avoid such scamming to others, 1. Google should enforce to have their name removed on the kit advertisement. 2. Respectable companies should check before they endorse this kind of publicity, This ad I came across has News 18 TV, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, and USA today

I was solicited via email for a $1.97 "disk" containing work at home information. I figured $1.97 was ok to charge since ABC, NBC, and USA Today profiled it. I never received a confirmation email from them. I never received any "disk" and when after 1 week I was charged $49.50, I call the"BizKit" 800 number on my bank statement. I went back to the website and found NO terms for additional fees. The main page and terms say you will be charged $1.97 only.Tried calling several times and received a disconnect signal. After repeated calls, I got through to an overseas "service" who needed my account number from the package materials (that I NEVER received). After considerable effort, I managed to get my $49.50 credited. One month, to the day, later my statement showed a $99.00 pending charge from the same source.I immediately called my bank and reported my card stolen and canceled it; I also filed a police report. Two days AFTER the card was canceled the charge was no longer "pending" but real! By the way, the account that they claimed I had was canceled 2 days "prior" to the charges, and I have a confirmation email to prove it. I still await my refund. WHAT A SCAM!!!!

Then I started getting many confirmation emails from other companies I had never heard of, like ExpenseTracker saying they were going to take out $20 a month. I went back and read the terms, nowhere on their site or in their terms & conditions does it say they are going to sign you up for other bogus websites. Also, the main page and terms say you will be charged $1.97, but I was charged $2.97 on my card when I called to check. Tried calling several times and received a disconnect signal. Thank you for this information. I hope it's not too late. I signed up for the Kit, and there were other sales offers, and that's when I got nervous, although I clicked on NO to the offers. I ended up on some other site which gave me my User ID number and a Password. There was never any more mention of my Kit, so I called the 1-877-340-4694 number, and the sales person told me that I would not be getting a Google Kit and this was not for the job of posting links on Google, etc. In fact, after I explained what I had read and directed him to the site where you order the Kit, he changed and said I would be receiving the Kit in the mail. I am so frustrated and upset. I have to wait 48 hours for my information, credit card, etc. to appear in their computer system. I pray I can get a refund and no other charges will appear on my statement. If they do, please tell me what am I to do. I cannot afford this, plus I am ill with cancer and no way to pay my bills. Yes you might get fee for the replacement card, but its worth it and you won't need to stress that you can't do anything about them. Stop payments now to your card before its too late!!.

I was just researching about Google biz kit when I found out about all the people who have been scamed by it. I feel so sorry for you people because it is a recession and you all are experiencing some kind of financial struggles so thats why you decided to purchase the google biz kit. But instead of boosting your finaince you ended up making it worst. The people behind the scam will never recieve the wealth they want and they will always lack money because what goes around comes around. They will watch themselves perish slowly into poverty. May God give reimburse those who have been affected by the scam. Amen

I have recently been billed for £52.97 and have been to my bank to log it as fraud because i genuinely did not know who might have charged me so much money for something i haven't even bought. My bank then contacted me saying that it wasn't fraudulent bc i had paid them before (£1.97 service charge) the charge came up on my statement as PWW* internet biz and i have desperately been trying to find a way to get hold of someone on some kind of customer service but have not found anything so far. If anyone has got into contact with someone tha can help can i please have a telephone number or email. thanks

GET YOUR REFUND! This is a scheme of two companies, both with a rating out of Utah's BBB as "F". After your initial purchase the opportunity to re-charge you is divided among two 'billing companies'. The $69 subscription charge is from Google (Money) Profits and the $99 one-time charge is from Pacific Webworks Inc. That company had to settle with the Utah Division of Consumer Services in 2007 and has conditions including having to refund after legitimate consumer complaints and for legal action for receiving more complaints. You can see details of the settlement at BBB Utah profile on Pacific WebWorks Inc. I threatened action to both companies and after a lot of talk got promised refunds from both ($99 and $ 47.50). Please do not give up -- call number on your bank statement and argue, do not be deterred, speak to supervisors. DO NOT HANG UP (they try everything including pretending the phone connection is bad!) Also file an online complaint with BBB Utah which they will forward to company and track the case until you are refunded. DO NOT BLAME YOURSELF... it is a well-devised scam. Fight back properly.

I looked over the add for the Home Business Kit using Google and as they say, if it looks too good to be true; then it probably is. Someone is making a ton of money off of you honest FOOLS! My daughter is a collage student, and she tried it. They took her for $350.00 dollars that she can`t get back, and she stopped me from doing the same thing. Read about it, they have been turned into the BBB,and they have done nothing. Sounds a lot like a HUGE payoff. First thing you must do is read the fine print, and trust NO ONE!

Oh! I am also a victim of the business kit for google scam. I just sign up awhile ago and i've noticed in the email receipt "Terms and Conditions of 7 Day Trial: Monthly Service fees will commence 7 days from the date of this purchase, and will be billed monthly thereafter for the continued access to the software. No refunds will be given for failure to use the requested and provided services. We reserve the right to transfer your billing to a third party Merchant of Record. This authority will remain in effect until revoked by me. You may cancel at anytime by calling 1-800-497-4988 or International customers please call 00-1-646-205-0230 ." I called up the number immediately to verify the "MONTHLY SERVICE" and the lady told me its $79.00. I cancel it right away... I should read and research about this Biz before I signed up...

Consumers can file with the Utah BBB if your bank statement showed "TQG online bizkit" because that is Pacific Webworks and the full profile is listed here including other aliases: http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/computer-software-services/pacific-webworks-in-salt-lake-city-ut-2007120 BBB of Utah will process your complaint with the company and apparently have 'resolved' (presumably with refund) over 497 complaints or something like that. Includes company phone number, President and CEO name and contact info.

I read this page and was fierce in a call to the number on my bank statement (1800-497-4988)constantly cutting them off asking for a supervisor and detailing to them how many scammed customers are pissed off according to this and other websites. That is the argument to use to their insistence that we signed up for this payment -- nobody believed they were getting more payments. I mention attorney general, class action lawsuit, revoking of merchant license and that Google lawyers are working with scammed customers to take serious action -- they can refund now or as part of the settlement. They got me to supervisor and offered to refund half of my 99.00 -- I said NO all and now. They finally offered full refund and canceled subscription. I think they can not hang up because at one point they tried to pretend like the signal was breaking up (they said so) and acted as if they can't hear me -- but I stayed on. The company 'Abigail' said was GoogleProfit out of Utah. I am contacting attorney general, BBB and real Google. If they don't refund money as promised I will find them. And to the person that thinks we are idiots for signing up -- it simply was Google's reputation that made overcome suspicions-- their size and the craziness of internet marketplace made this job offer seem plausible -- chance was on $1.99 not 99.00. That was a lie and a scam, theft fraud. PLEASE EVERYONE SUPPORT A NEW POWERFUL CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY so we can fight back against this and the million other business, bank and credit card predation schemes. Right now the system, built by them, protects them... and we're supposed to feel guilty and take it. Bullshit.

I can't believe I was so stupid. I am an intelligent person and should have known better but I was trying to think of a way out of my financial woes. Huh, that sounds kind of elaborate with the customer service number and all they must be operating in a legal gray area. Anyway, does anyone really think they could make almost $100,000 a year doing easy work anyone can do from home? Making a lot of money is about exclusion. If anyone could do it, it wouldn't be exclusive anymore. People who make $100,000 a year tend to have a lot of advanced credentials or their own businesses that they put together themselves. So while it is kind of clear this was scammy, i was websurfing and was curious if it had a scam alert on it. I've been getting these ads targeted to me for the last month or two.

I wish I would've been smarter and searched the product before ordering. The big red flag was right on the order page, too. It straight up says, "This site has no affiliation with Google." Now, I have a pending charge on my bank account for $74.95 that's set to clear tomorrow. Today's Thanksgiving! There's not going to be an answer if I try to call. We already live paycheck-to-paycheck, plus it's holiday time with all those presents left to buy. Now I'm wondering if I should even try calling to cancel after reading all the other posts. Maybe I'll do what others have done and claim the card stolen. The site that got my money: fastblogincome.com

I called for the initial disk, I was later contacted numerous times from a "blocked" number and so I finally answered the call only to find out it was this company confirming that I ordered the disk. I asked for more information on how this works and was directed to a "customer service" number but no one ever answered. So I then contacted the 888-299-7715 number and told them that I did not want this product and didn't want to have anything to do with it, I was assured that it would be canceled. I just noticed my account was charged $68.45 and called again and told them to cancel my subscription and demanded a refund. The guy Mariano offered me free 1 year service, which part of "cancel my subscription and give me a refund" did he not understand? After 10 minutes on the phone, I threatened to report him and his company as well as to Google (I do have friends who work there) about their scam. He immediately refunded me the money!

Nice website. But here's what I don't get: all these posters who say "I almost fell for this but..." OR, worse, "I tried to cancel my subscription right away"... Um, WHAT? WHY WOULD YOU EVEN CONSIDER A "JOB" LIKE THIS? It's obviously a "too good to be true", and reeks of scam from the millisecond you start to read it! People, come ON. The internet wasn't invented yesterday, and neither were Ponzi schemes. This is merely the 2009 version of your aunt and uncle inviting you over "for a little get together" and finding out it's an Amway sell. I truly have no idea what gets someone to even sign up for something like this.
